A young ambitious liberal college student eager to show her intellectual ability went to her first class and when asked to write an essay on Socialism.

She was enthusiastic about the chance.  She finally had the chance to prove the virtues of socialism and the expose the evils of Capitalism.

She worked everyday, and passed up opportunities to be with her friends to be i...

Whether a student actually wrote this or not, the message is powerful while being tounge-in-cheek.

I hope you do  not take yourself so seriously that you fail to see the underlying message.

December 8:  It started to snow. The first snow of the season and the wife and I took our cocktails and sat for hours by the window watching the huge soft flakes drift down from heaven. It looked like a Grandma Moses Print. It was so romantic we felt like newlyweds again. I love snow!
